The Cheshire YMCA proudly serves the youth and families of over 40 New Hampshire towns in Cheshire, Sullivan, and Hillsborough Counties. Headquartered on Lake Street in Swanzey, NH, we're known for operating Camp Takodah, Developmental Travel programs, and the Hornets Nest Day camp.

Armed with a rich history, a talented staff, the resources of the YMCA movement, and a commitment to the YMCA's Abundant Assets alliance, we're dedicated to building new programs to strengthen our communities, and finding the volunteers to make them happen. We hope exploring these pages helps you learn about who we are, what we have to offer, and how you can fit into the picture!

We feel that every child deserves the ability to participate in any of the Cheshire YMCA programs, regardless of a family's ability to pay. Local families demonstrating need may exchange community service hours for further tuition assistance.
