Youth and Government

Geared toward the student interested in government, politics and civic action, YMCA Youth and Government introduces high school students from across the state of New Hampshire to the local political process.

The program helps students achieve developmental tasks, such as socially responsible behavior, mature relationships with others, decisions about college or occupational choices, political awareness, and status among their peers.

Youth and Government also encourages students to clarify their values and understand the challenges that come from participation in government.
